VollherbstDruck looks back over the successful development of the company over the last 90 years.

"Perseverance leads to success" was the first thing the Vollherbst company printed in 1921: a formative statement, with which Franz A. Vollherbst pointed the way for his successors in the company.

On a second-hand platen press, still retained in working order today, this winegrower and master bookbinder thus laid the foundation for the success of the company today. His son Franz took over the business in 1950 as a small traditional operation and turned it into a regionally significant label printing business with around 100 employees, which he led until 1984.

Since then, the company has been led by the third generation, with Dr. Franz-Josef Vollherbst as Managing Shareholder. Under his leadership, it has developed into the leader in quality on the premium label market, whose services are increasingly in demand abroad, too.

Exactly ninety years after its foundation, VollherbstDruck commissioned a new HEIDELBERG Speedmaster XL 75, providing "the perfect addition to the existing equipment", according to Managing Director Andreas Wohnlich.

After ninety years, Dr. Vollherbst is delighted to be leading the development of a healthy company with a good market position, and is looking forward to further positive development and our outstanding staff continuing this development together with the next Vollherbst generation: "Quality for over ninety years has been the recipe for success so far. Comprehensive quality and the highest level of expertise in premium labels with good sales figures will remain the maxims for VollherbstDruck."
